What is Salvia Divinorum?

Salvia divinorum, also known as Diviners Sage or just Salvia, is a herb from the sage family of plants. Native to Oaxaca Mexico, Salvia Divinorum has been used for many years by Mazatec shamans as a healing and visionary guide.

How do you use Salvia Divinorum?

You can use Salvia leaf in a variety of ways including smoking, making a tea and chewing (the quid method). The extract can only be smoked.

Salvia does not seem to be affecting me.

There are a variety of factors affecting the level of intensity of the experience felt by individuals. Firstly is the state of mind that you are in when you enter the experience if you are highly stressed you will find it more difficult to achieve the same level of effects. Secondly, there is an individual as personal tolerance level to Salvinorin A about 10% of the population are highly tolerant to Salvinorin A and need a more potent extract. Lastly, the method used to take Salvia is very important. If not properly used, getting any effects from Salvia is very difficult.

How do I use Salvia properly?

With the leaf, you are using - 1 gram while the extract varies from 0.1 to 0.3 of a gram. The leaf can be used either by smoking, the quid method (soaking the leaves in water and then placing in the mouth for 20-30 minutes to allow the juices soak into the system) or as a tea. The extract can only be smoked. When smoking, make sure you use a pipe, bring the Salvia to a high temperature and keep the smoke in your lungs for 20-30 minutes. Always have a sitter when using Salvia.

Is Salvia legal?

Salvia Divinorum is legal in the majority of the countries in the world including the USA, UK and Canada. Countries where it is illegal are Australia, Denmark, Finland and Norway.

What kind of shipping options do you have?

We ship all our orders out via UPS. As we use UPS we have overnight and expedited shipping options. Just choose those options before you complete your order.

What kind of packaging do you use?

We use either a generic white UPS envelope or a plain brown box depending on the size of your order. The information on the package will indicate our return address for Herbal Life & Essence and it will state that it is Salvia Incense for customs and insurance purposes.

How long does it take for an order to process?

Processing time normally takes between 2-3 business days for products that we have in stock. During times of heavy orders, it sometimes takes slightly longer. If you need your order rushed through, call your order in before 12:00 noon PST at 1-800-482-5095
